Mike Monahan, Executive Director

Mike Monahan is a well-respected leader and motivator with over twenty years of experience in the personal development field. His presentations are designed to be practical, humorous, and applicable to everyday life. Mike credits many of his leadership viewpoints to his tour in Vietnam where, in addition to a Bronze Star Medal, he received two Army Commendation Medals; with one being for Valor.
The leadership lessons Mike learned in Vietnam, combined with life's lessons and attending Life Success Seminars, allows Mike to lead by example. In his thirteenth year as Executive Director of Life Success, Mike facilitates various seminars and workshops in addition to his many motivational presentations and media appearances. His inspiring stories touch the lives of those to whom he speaks.
Mike is happily married to Nancy, with five grown children, four grandchildren, and is a life long resident of Cincinnati.
Nancy Monahan, Director of Operations

As the director of seminars, Nancy oversees all seminars including facilitators, staff and volunteers. Besides managing Life Success' seminars, Nancy is very much part of the day-to-day office operations.
Nancy left the world of banking and finance in 1991 to begin working at Life Success after attending both the Basic and IPI seminars and realizing the positive impact both classes had made in her life. Within a year she was managing the office. Over the years Nancy has created and filled positions replacing herself, taking on new challenges to ensure the growth of the organization. As the gatekeeper, Nancy has been a key contributor, protecting the soul of the company to ensure its legacy. Nancy continues to bring the history of Life Success into the future carrying with her a clear vision that has supported the organization's continual growth.
A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Nancy is happily married to Mike, the executive director of Life Success, and has five grown children and four grandchildren.
Nancy's mission is to support her staff and continue to invest in Life Success Seminars' legacy to ensure that she's making a difference wherever she goes.
Tony Miltenberger, Director of Leadership and Outreach

As the director of leadership and outreach, Tony actively develops LSS partnerships with schools and community groups in both the Cincinnati and Dayton areas. And he helps LSS touch more lives by offering Dayton-area Preview to Success events, which introduce people to Life Success and our Basic seminar.
Tony has extensive experience in working with people, serving for 12 years as a chaplains's assistant in the Army Reserves and most recently as a relationship educator with Marriage Works! Ohio. "I am really motivated by helping people live in strong, healthy relationships," Tony says. "My goal is to inspire everyone I meet to be the best version of themselves by focusing on accountability and empowerment througth servant leadership."
In addition, Tony fosters under-40 leadership within the Life Success grad base, ensuring that the organization has a solid foundation for our future growth.
Coleen Honold, Accounting Manager

Coleen has been the Life Success accounting manager for the past two years. As the accounting manager, Coleen is responsible for all the Life Success Seminars and the West Chester Conference Center's finances and general accounting.
Coleen is involved with the different Life Success seminars and often acts as a room coordinator making sure seminars run smoothly and supporting the facilitator and the students, as needs arise. Coleen also works with Melissa, the Director of Enrollment, following-up with graduates by keeping them abreast of upcoming programs, or encouraging their growth and helping them along the way.
Coleen, a native Cincinnatian, loves being an aunt to her four nieces and nephews.
Coleen's mission is to be a strong resource for the Life Success graduates, who are looking to change and grow, so they can more effectively live their lives.
Ann Weber, Director of Communications

Ann Weber, our director of communications, earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University, and she first participated in a Life Success Basic seminar in 1999. Ann has worked in corporate communications and magazine publishing and was a successful entrepreneur as a massage therapist. These varied experiences put her in unique positions to help people. “I've found that strong relationships and effective communication are the keys to success--both personally and professionally,” Ann says.
In her daily role at LSS, Ann works with the LSS team on long-term strategy, helps maintain our brand identity, and generates publicity and strategic alliances for the organization. She also facilitates our communications efforts and assists with planning for the monthly networking events InnerCircles for Women and Business at Breakfast.
Kathy Ainslie, Conference Center Director

Kathy has been the West Chester Conference Center Director for the past five years. As the director, Kathy acts as the liaison between the Conference Center clients and the banquet staff to ensure that all events are scheduled and managed properly, and the clients are well taken care of.
Kathy is also involved with the Life Success Basic seminars. She works with the staff to provide support and to ensure the students, group-leaders and the facilitators all have what they need during the session. Kathy also oversees the banquets service for the Basic seminar, by coordinating with volunteers to ensure dinner and lunch service, as well as scheduling and serving snack for the seminar breaks.
Kathy grew up in Columbus Ohio, and moved to Cincinnati in 1992. Recently married, she and Brian live in Hamilton.
Kathy's mission is to support Life Success and the West Chester Conference Center through her love of hospitality.
Michele Aufdenkampe, Alumni Specialist

As the sales manger for the past three years, Michele's job is to introduce the West Chester Conference Center to Life Success graduates as well as to the tri-state businesses, making sure they are aware of the meeting space and conference room options for different events. As such, Michele is the person that makes sure the Conference Center is booked on a consistent basis.
Besides working as the sales manger, Michele is the Life Success Seminar group-leader coordinator. As the coordinator, she works with group leaders on a monthly basis to make sure they are well prepared to support the new participants attending the seminars. And as the breakfast networking series coordinator, Michelle lines up monthly speakers, markets the event, and MCs the series.
A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Michele grew up and still lives in Milford and has two children, James and Jenna.
Michele's mission is to successfully sell the conference center facilities. In keeping the facility booked, it allows the Life Success organization, and the people connected to this organization, to continue thriving.

Steve Sherwood
Steve Sherwood is a designer and facilitator of personal and professional growth seminars conducted across the country. Steve has spent the last 30 years helping individuals achieve their goals and dreams. With his help, people have discovered a renewed sense of vitality and wonder in their lives and their relationships.
Steve has a national reputation as a facilitator of experiential training. He is especially adept at focusing people on making the difficult choices in life so that their hidden talents are revealed.
Therese Quinn
Theresa has been a successful entrepreneur for over 30 years, a leading international facilitator and co-owner of LIFESTREAM for over 14 years. Some of her accomplishments include: owning and operating a golf sales and marketing company; a professional fundraiser for a non-profit organization, and an award-winning leader in the insurance industry for over 20 years.
Therese is a former student of Religious studies from Immaculata College and currently is a lay Eucharistic minister of Holy Family Church. Therese holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from Barry University in Miami, Florida. Theresa is an avid competitive golfer who qualified for the 2008 U.S. Senior Women's Amateur.
Board of Trustees
Sandra Anderson
Sandra is a partner and trial lawyer with the Columbus firm, Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, which she joined in 1977. In 1996, she was the first woman to be elected President of the Columbus Bar Association. She was recently appointed by Governor Ted Strickland to the Ohio University Board of Trustees. Ms. Anderson graduated from Ohio University in 1973 with a degree in Communication. She received her law degree from Northwestern University in 1976. In addition to serving on several non-profit boards, Ms. Anderson is frequently called upon as a speaker and teacher, including as an Adjunct Professor for The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. In her spare time, she enjoys returning to her southern Ohio farm-girl roots by tending to her vegetable garden.
Traci Camacho
Traci is a Director of Business Development for i3 Innovus, a division of United Health Care. Her sales efforts are focused on the late stage clinical studies designed to meet the pharmaceutical industry's scientific and commercialization needs. Prior to joining i3, Traci was with Kendle International for 8 years working in a similar capacity. In addition to her professional life, Traci is actively involved with Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy and the Bash for the Boys, benefitting Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Traci previously sat on the Board of the University of Cincinnati Alumni Association. Traci is a native of Cincinnati, with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from University of Cincinnati. She and her husband Ty, have one daughter, Caroline Grace. Traci and Ty have been involved with Life Success since early 2006.
Dan Fisher
Dan is a Partner/VP Operations of Barcode Technologies & Services, Inc. Dan also serves on the Board of Directors for the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau as well as Velocity Lacrosse and Sports. He and his family have been involved with Life Success Seminars for many years and have seen the tremendous results people have experienced during that time. Dan is a graduate of The Ohio State University and married with 2 young daughters.
Larry Gray
Larry is the Director of Clinical Microbiology for Good Samaritan and Bethesda North hospitals, Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and President of Clinical Microbiology Laboratory Consultants, LLC. He is active nationally in several clinical microbiology and infectious diseases organizations and works regularly with the CDC. He received his BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, PhD from Wake Forest University, and residency training from the Mayo Clinic. His interests include blues guitar, the coast of North Carolina, judging beer, and backpacking and climbing in Alaska. He has been involved in LSS for 14 years. He has been married to Lynn "Ms. Wonderful" Gray for 37 years.
Tim Hecker, President
Tim is President of the Board of Trustees. His desire to serve Life Success started with his wife Maggie attending Basic in October of 1995. Tim attended the very next class in November and attended IPI in January, 1996. Since that time he has been involved in the organization by volunteering as a Basic and IPI group leader numerous times, being a champion over 45 people to Life Success and serving on the Board of Trustees. Tim is a Benefit's Consultant with USI Midwest and has been involved in the insurance industry for 23 years. He holds degrees from Miami University and The American College.
Gary Hunt, Treasurer
Gary is a CPA and Attorney and is the senior partner at Battelle & Battelle, a 100 person CPA and consulting firm in Dayton, Ohio. Gary's expertise includes tax, estate and financial planning, litigation support, and business consulting. He served in a management capacity with the firm for over twenty years and has been a primary driver behind the firm's marketing efforts. Gary is married to Deb Hunt, and they have two sons and six grandchildren. All of Gary's family will have graduated from Basic and IPI by the end of 2008, and they are avid supporters of Life Success.
